KACA- KASPR 2024 ICA Joint Research Session
Call for Abstracts: The Evolving Role of Public Relations in Global Communication & Human Rights

Dear KACA Members,

The Korean American Communication Association (KACA), in partnership with the Korean Academic Society for Public Relations (KASPR), is excited to announce a joint roundtable session at the 74th annual International Communication Association (ICA) conference. The conference will take place in Gold Coast, Australia, from June 20 to June 24, 2024, with the KACA-KASPR joint session scheduled for June 22, 2024.

This roundtable session, themed “The Evolving Role of Public Relations in Global Communication & Human Rights,” invites scholars passionate about public relations, global communication, and human rights to submit their extended abstracts for this interdisciplinary event. Please note that all presentations and discussions will be conducted entirely in English.

The session aims to stimulate a dynamic exchange of ideas and insights into the changing landscape of public relations in the context of global communication challenges and human rights advocacy. We recommend co-authorship and collaborative work with other authors to encourage more participation. This approach not only broadens the diversity of perspectives and expertise but also enhances the overall impact of the collective scholarship.
