Hope College

Hope College’s Department of Communication is accepting applications for its two tenure track position openings. The first position is calling for a scholar whose academic interest lies in organizational and Interpersonal communication with an additional emphasis to leadership. Applications for this position will close this Friday, Nov. 22. The second call is for a broadly defined position that encompasses digital media, argumentation, criticism, advocacy, social activism, civic engagement, and participatory politics. We aim to find an innovative thinker who can contribute to our unique liberal arts communication department. Review of applications will begin on December 16, 2019. Both positions are open to different methodological traditions including quantitative, qualitative, and rhetorical research methods. The department desires strong teacher-scholars who can assist to attract new majors, to promote both graduate education and vocational discernment, and to engage in collaborative research with undergraduates. More details can be found in Hope College’s Faculty Openings page: https://www.schooljobs.com/careers/hopeedu
