2024 Inaugural KACA Conference (Apr 11 – 13, 2024)

The inaugural KACA conference will take place on April 11-13 in Washington D.C. This conference lays the groundwork for celebrating KACA’s 50th anniversary in 2028 and charting the future of our academic endeavors. The selected studies will showcase the breadth and depth of KACA scholarship, fostering a deeper understanding of Korea-related communication phenomena across various fields.

  • Thursday, April 11th, 5:30 PM: Opening reception at the Korea Foundation-USA (exclusive to presenters and the organizing committee).

  • Friday, April 12th: Conference sessions and dinner (open to all registrants, families are welcome).

  • Regular Registration (March 9th – April 5th): Register for $110 (no hotel discount included).
  • Family Dinner: Add family members to your registration for the Friday night dinner: $50 (aged 18+) and/or $25 (aged 13-17). Children 12 and under are free.
